“Donate eyes to give sight”
Brahman Unity Foundation undertakes various cultural and social activities for the welfare of society. We all have been gifted with sight by Almighty. However, some of our brethren are devoid of vision due to various reasons.
One such reason is Corneal Blindness. This can be rectified only by the transplant of human cornea. There is no substitute available for it in medical science. Even upon our death, our cornea has capability to function. This can be retrieved and transplanted to needy people. In India, against a need running into several lakhs, we get only a few thousand pairs of corneas.
Realizing the need of mankind, BUF has embarked upon a noble activity of spreading awareness on eye donation, clarifying doubts and misconceptions, organizing outreach programs, documenting noble souls. This activity is undertaken by its “EYE DONATION TEAM”.
